Streethay Parish Council is pleased to announce its programme of community events this autumn, with the return of two popular Halloween competitions and the introduction of a new community Remembrance Sunday event.
Residents of all ages are invited to get involved, whether by hunting for hidden pumpkins, decorating their homes for Halloween or joining together to remember those who gave their lives in service.
Pumpkin Trail Returns to Streethay Park
Families can once again enjoy the popular Streethay Park Pumpkin Trail during the October half-term holidays.
Hidden throughout Streethay Play Park will be a collection of pumpkins waiting to be discovered. Children are invited to count how many they can find and enter the FREE competition for the chance to win fantastic prizes, including £20 gift vouchers.

Halloween Best Dressed House Competition
Residents are also invited to show off their spooky creativity by entering the Halloween Best Dressed House Competition.
Whether it’s pumpkins, skeletons, ghosts or ghouls, decorate your home and enter for the chance to win a £50 gift voucher.

New Community Remembrance Sunday Event
This year, Streethay Parish Council is introducing a new Community Remembrance Sunday event, providing residents with an opportunity to come together in remembrance and reflection.
The community is warmly invited to join Parish Councillors for a short act of remembrance and wreath laying, followed by light refreshments and the opportunity to spend time together.
