£500,000 Investment Confirmed for Streethay Community Centre!
Streethay Parish Council has been successful in its application for £500,000 from Lichfield District Council to finally deliver Streethay Community Centre.
The funding will contribute to the development of Streethay Community Centre, creating a vibrant, welcoming hub for residents. As new housing developments continue in the area, the investment ensures that vital community infrastructure keeps pace with growth.
Community centres play a crucial role in fostering connection, wellbeing and opportunity. The new facility will provide flexible space for local groups, clubs, activities, and events, helping to bring people together and strengthen neighbourhood ties.
Cllr Harry Warburton, Chairman of Streethay Parish Council said:
“We are all delighted that we can finally put the funding challenges behind us and move forward with delivering the new Community Centre for the residents of Streethay.
